I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has been diving along the Yangtze river in China. After building the 3 Gorges Dam, many ancient villages went under water. I was there in 2007, about halfway through the flooding, and it was so sad to see the final watermarks (175M) up on the hill above a Ming/Ching dynasty building. Perhaps they could have another life as diving sites.

It was really interesting to hear the difference in opinion between the older people and younger people about this whole process.
