Ok , so I am going to Statia in March. I am very excited for just the mere history of the island alone. Does anyone have any experience with this little Caribbean treasure and do you have any specific sites and operations to recommend?
Thanks in advance.

Satia is a cool little place. Very quaint, pristine, friendly, and laid back. No nightlife to speak of, and the diving is decent. It is not the best diving in the area as that title goes to Saba. Golden Rock is a good dive operation, and their guides are very friendly. One does have to dive with a guide in the Statia marine park...thats the law. The artificial wreck called the Charlie Brown is good dive. They also have a dive called "Wreck City" which is like 5 small wrecks in a small area. Take a day to hike up into the volcano rainforest- they call it "The Quill."* It is quite beautiful.

Thanks guys. I picked Statia instead of Saba because of its history....pretty interesting. Oh and I want to get some blue beads...lol
