By the way... right now the water temperature is about 35.8 F... it's a US weather buoy! Not sure what that is in celcius but I do know it's bloody cold!

Please note that this site is usually off by 1 or 2 degree's F. The temp yesterday was 34F for everyone in the group that dove yesterday. Needs to get around 40 for me to be putting on my 7mm and putting up with the fogged up mask ( no de-fogger or manual de-frogger ie:spit helps ) and ice cream headaches they are just a fact of life for me.

A little off topic but can someone point me in the direction where to find shore dive locations around Brockville . Planning to head down later this summer and maybe a spur of the moment idea and little time to book a charter..Thanks

Centeen Park is an OK shore dive for new divers. If more experienced you can do the swim out to the wreck of the Gaskin.

There is the Rothesay and the Coal Docks in Prescott and the Conestoga in Cardinal (all within a half hour of Brockville)

Thanks GTA... I've seen people diving off of the wall in Prescott right infront of the dive shop and was wondering what goes on there as well. Is it a drift and what depth?...Thanks:confused:

the wall in front of the dive shop in prescott (sea n sky) is like a u/w fun park. a bunch of stuff roped together. not a bad dive (40 ft deep, some current) - but it makes for a fun night dive. sea n sky has a nice charter boat, although i don't know if it's in the water yet. excellent crew! capt. kevin is great. plus, on 2 tank days trips they serve soup and sandwiches. lots of excellent wrecks in that area.
