The wife & I are going to St. John in late May. She doesn't dive, so I will only do 1 or 2 days of diving. What can you recommend for a decent dive operation/location? We will be staying at the Westin. I would like maximum bottom time, so something not too deep. All input is welcome.
Thanks in advance.

The Westin has its own dive shop on site. I stayed there once but didnt do
any diving. I did dive with Chris Sawyer the next year on St. Thomas.

If you go down town (just a short cab ride from the westin) walk to where
there is a car rental place and a road going up a steep hill....there is a dive
shop up there if you need anything special.....top of hill...left side of road.

I would really recommend renting a car on St. J. and drive around to the
many beaches it has. It is easy to drive on ....while driving on St. T is a
death wish.

You will enjoy the Westin....take care and remember to do a trip report.
If you have more questions....pm me.
