Hey I am going to do my first boat dive in Lantana which is in Palm Beach, FL. Anyone ever dive there? If you have do you remember the kinds of marine life you saw on your dive and the visibility you had that day? Is there a website where divers go and give reviews to dive sites they have gone to?? Thanks for any help or advice:D!

I've been to that public beach many times but only to swim. Depending on the day, lots of Portuguese man o' war so be careful.

Hi ScubaGirlJg,

I dived with Starship Enterprise, they were a very good operation. The drift dive on the reef was good. Best of luck on your first boat dive.

Good diving, Craig

You going on the Dolphin Sun with BBDC? Anyways, I dive out of there all the time. They often dive the Boynton reefs or sometimes even Delray Ledges...you'll see all kinds of stuff. Lots of angelfish & parrotfish , sea turtles, nurse sharks sometimes ,etc. Always a good dive! Have fun!

I'm going on the Dolphin sun tomorrow morning actually...

I think that boat may be called the "Starfish Enterprise".

Excellent, boat and captain.

Hi Scubagiirl! The Lantana boats leave out of the same inlet and dive the same reefs as we do. We keep a running thread with photos about the diving down here. I agree that Craig and Linda Starfish do a great job, and they are great folks to boot. Have a great trip!

Hi ScubaGirlJg,

If you've not yet decided with whom to dive, I would strongly suggest diving with Kevin Metz and Underwater Exploreres just south of Lantana at Boynton Beach https://securec7.ezhostingserver.com/diveboyntonbeach-com/indexs.cfm Best operator I've dived with, nicest people I've dived with. Great dives on the reefs of Boynton Beach, skilled divemaster in the water should you desire same.

Best of luck, good diving, Craig
