Hi Pablo
I have been diving in Perth Western Australia for over 35 years. The best location if you are only here for a short time is definately Rottnest Island 18kms offshore from the mainland. Perth's biggest dive operator is Perth Diving Academy, they have large boats that run two-dive-a-day trips to the island daily, on weekends they run three-dive-a-day trips leaving at 6.30am. Rottnest Island is great diving on limestone reefs riddled with ledges and caves. Great colour and good fish life. Water temps in February are around 22-23 degrees C, visibility around 15-25 metres. Maximum air temeratures will be in the vicinity of 30-38 degrees C. Check out the Perth Diving Academy Website at http://www.perthdiving.com.au/ (I am not associated with Perth Diving Academy - I just know of their services)
Regards - Jeff
