I used both cameras between 4 dives. Honestly, I don't care for the Dc1200. The fully charged battery lasted a dive and a half and the longer focus time really bothers me. Only 5 out of 50 photos came out half decent with that camera. I switched and used my backup dc1000 the rest of the dive, and of course didn't let me down. The battery lasted two full dives with still a pretty full charge. Anyway, enough blabbering, here's the pics.

The first two were with the dc1200 on macro, the wider shots weren't worth posting but it takes great macro shots if something isn't swimming.

I so need to learn to use my camera. These are beautiful. Mine come out dark or washed out. :(

Wow! Nice pictures! !!

nice.

This was my first foray into UWphotography and I got the new DC1200. Mostly because of the larger buttons and it seemed simple to use. Got great photo's from the first dive- probably on 1 out of 10 were worthy but I feel that's a good start and I'm hooked.
