This was our first dive at OGB. Wind from the South had been stirring up the waters around Newport and I thought we should try someplace new. I realized that Rockport was only an about 45 minutes farther than Newport and is much better protected from the South. Mike, Emily and I caught the site at low tide, but my instincts were pretty much on the mark; calm waters, great visibility. We made two dives on the site. The first was 53 minutes and an max depth of 33'. The second dive we skirted the rocks and stayed around 29', but were out for 61 minutes. the visibility for both dives were great and the water temp was a brisk 54F, which was a little colder than we would have seen in Newport, but warm temperatures would have been the only thing we would have seen at FTW.
