Diving Novel, Cant remember the name

I remember reading this diving book. I cant remember the name. But it put the dangers of diving in perspective. It was about a father and son who wanted to dive this u-boat. I believe the son died. Ummm the whole family took up diving. I cant remember the name. I cant see the cover. It shows a diver going under water with a scooter and the sun is shining down on him.

Oh well if anyone knows the name let me know.
