Diving Ni'ihau In April

We are going to Kauai April 1 for a week any chance we will be able to dive at the island Ni'ihau, or is that the wrong time of the year. Will the whales still be around at that time of the year?

Thinking that was a bit close - I checked their website - They say Mid-May is when they start. You may want to email them just before you leave to see if anything different is happening with the weather, that may allow them to go - but it doesn't look good.
