Diving Near SanFran?

I'm going to San Francisco for a business trip in the beginning of March. I won't have too much free to time, but I'd love to get some diving in. Are there any good dive spots nearby, i.e., that don't require a 3 hour drive? Any suggestions on charter operators? Thanks so much in advance!

95% of the people there drive to Monterey Bay to dive. I'd look into that. I'd guess it's maybe a 2 hour drive from San Fran.
