Hello folks, in March I will be in Arecibo helping someone on my crew take care of some property he has down there. I've already told him I would be spending equal time in the water. The question is, where can I go to dive? And, if I have to travel far to dive, where can I go to just snorkel on my own time as I desire on some days?

Thanks for the help. I'm looking forward to visiting Puerto Rico for the first time.

My wife is from Arecibo and I have visited it a couple of times. I have not heard of much good diving out of there. The western side of the island has the best diving reputation. I would look to Rincon for your diving needs, but expect some drive time. Do a search on this forum under Rincon and you will find lots of useful information.

Good luck.
