Hi all,

I'm planning on diving in Myrtle Beach on March 26th with Coastal Scuba. They have a charter going to the Sherman. This will be my first charter with them, in the past I've always dove with Express Scuba in Murrells Inlet but wanted to give these folks a chance since they're a little more convenient for me from a location standpoint.

Report from last week was 54 degree bottom temp and 30 ft vis.

Would love to have some company.

Coastal has been around for some time now. Fourteen years ago I dove with them frequently. If you could blow away the sand covering the Sherman you will likely be shocked at the volume of Civil war artifacts hidden underneath the sand. I found a rifle part on the Sherman. It came off of an 1886 Henry Winchester rifle. It is the brass butt plate.

The Sherman is not a LONG boat ride. Which is a good thing in my opinion. Its about 55 feet deep. It is a fun dive

Enjoy your dive Gary!

heard good things about coastal, we're looking at going out to barracuda alley with them in april.
