Not that movies were ever worried about violating the laws of physics, but exactly how did she submerge a lift bag (that's what they call them "lift" bags 8-) ), and how did she keep from rocketing to the surface?

In this teaser, Jessica Alba.....where was I? Oh yeah, she runs out of air, and submerges in a lift bag to get a breath. Never thought of that. Ok, Im going to go watch the trailer again a few times.

deffinatly an interesting shot from inside the bag.

but
"Young scuba divers uncover the wreckage of a cargo plane carrying millions of dollars in illegal goods"

am I the only one who didn't see a plane ? more of an old ship?
and the dagger thing he found and brought up looked more historic then Illegal , although I guess maybe where they are diving they have blade lenght laws ? ;)
I'm going to watch it again and see if i can see a plane....
and maybe just to look at the nice warm blue water for abit :D

I am sure that this one is much better than "Open Water."

Noooo, not another lame scuba movie! Wait, did you say Jessica Alba? In a swimsuit? I am soooo there! ;) Actually, the trailer makes it appear that this one may be entertaining. Too bad "The Rock" isn't the costar. snicker/giggle

Very interesting effect of filming from inside the bag. But submerge probably isn't what you meant to say. Maybe emerge?

Thanks for the link.
Actually, I think I meant "surface". The lift bag could be tied down to something, then you could surface in it. Say you are on a wreck and you inflated a lift bag, but it hasnt gone up yet, and you run out of air. You could probably surface in it and breath from the lift bag. You know, in case you run out of air after breathing from your bc.

If she's OOA what's that coming out of her reg whilst she's inflating the lift bag?
I'm guessing that she's either using the bag as a hiding spot if not yet another Hollywood technical goof. And no, there's no reference to an airplane in the trailer but multiple references to an historical wreck.

Hey, hey, let's not nitpick. 90 minutes of Jessica Alba in a bikini, interspersed with underwater footage--how bad can that be?
