Hello all,

Question: Is it legal to dive in Mt. Rainier National Park? In several years of hiking, I've never seen anyone do it, but that may be simply because of the long haul it would be (1/4-1 mi were the lakes I was considering) to get the gear up there.

So many of the pristine lakes in the park look like they're begging to have a diver in them. It'd be a long haul with gear, and all altitude dives, but it could very well be worth it.

I am intrigued by the challenge and potential reward, but no challenge is worth it if it's not legal. Anybody know?

Thanks!
