By far the best training in diving medicine that you can get would be with the military but this would require that you join the service. The Davis Hyperbaric Laboratory at Brooks AFB has the longest, continuously operating, hyperbaric medicine fellowship (true - - NOT a residency in that you must already be residency trained and board eligible prior to acceptance). Of course, it also requires that you be enrolled in the USAF, Army, Navy, or allied nations military medical force; but as noted - that's a small price to pay for the BEST!
