wow i hope this company is still in bussiness with only 1 person useing its software...lolol
Thanks for the reply Horn...

This "one person" was willing to help mi solve problem with his software even if I was only testing it (on the end, problem was my PC setup not his software). I just hope to have support like this from big companies! Thanks DIVINGLOG

thanks Sven,
Does it support direct downloading from a Oceanic VT3? If it does Ill get it ASAP

According to the website it supports import of Oceanic and Aeris, not direct uploading of dive profiles. Sounds like you have to upload you PDC data to your Oceanic software and then import that into Dive Log 4.0. I have an Atmos 2 and I may download his software and give it a try.

Direct download is unfortunately not available for Oceanic / Aeris computers, so you must download with Oceanlog and then import the data into Diving Log. A direct download is at the moment possible for ReefNet Sensus Ultra / Pro, Uwatec Aladin, and most of the Suunto computers (thanks to James Connell).

I have it and like it.

There are some issues with imperial vs. metric measurements, particularly with regard to the difference in the way tank capacities are handled on each side of the pond, and measurements and figures in general. It is very Euro-centric in that regard. Hopefully many of the little issues will be resolved with the next version. It is actively being worked on, however, so perhaps even an interim update can(has?) address the issue.

Also, there is a LOT of information that does not get imported from SmartTrak, for those with ScubaPro/Uwatec computers. The basics, yes, the extra info I spent so much time inputting, no. I don't have an Oceanic computer, so I can't attest any functionality (or lack) there.

Overall, however, I like it a lot. I just wish I could completely replace SmartTrak with it, but since it leaves out so much info, I mostly use it to import from SmartTrak and then print logs (which is does very well).
