Diving Lake Cumberland in July

Looks like I will be spending a week at Conley Bottom in July. From what I remember the water was nice and toasty at the surface around then, but what are the thermoclines like? I am trying to decide what, if any, wetsuit to bring. Also, are there any particularly cool places to check out? I will have access to a boat, but am not opposed to diving from the shoreline.

My experience at that end of the lake has been hit and miss. in the past you could find some decent coves with shear drop offs that provide good vis 10-20 feet. With the lake level down, it is harder to find good vis (last year anyway).
Indian Creek area and some of the islands near the dam has been reported to be better diving than up near Conley Bottom.
You will want a thick wetsuit, 5 to 7 mil with a hood, when you hit the thermocline at 15-25 feet, and it will be cold and relatively dark even if the vis is acceptable.
