Diving injury in Malibu CA

It was not a dive injury if he was hit by his boat! The local ABC channel said he was in serious condition in the Medical Center with a deep cut to his leg! Nothing else has been reported! as of 6:39pm.

The diver will be okay! He was at the end of his dive being helped into the boat while it was idling in neutral! He was at the swim step when the boat slipped into gear in reverse sucking him into the prop! He received a bad cut and a couple of breaks to his lower leg, but is recovering and plans to be back in the water as soon as possible! It is always a risk when a prop boat is running and should always be treated like an unloaded gun! Loaded!

I wish him a speedy recovery and we are all greatfull for the Coast Guard!
