Diving in Trincomalee

Hi,
i was planning to go and dive in trincomalee , Sri Lanka in sep. Is it worth making the trip? Any recos on dive centres will be great

Also how does diveing in trinco compare with batticaloa

This is the dive-op I used in 2009 during my HMS Hermes Aircraft Carrier Expediition out of Batticaloa:
DIVING IN SRI LANKA !! PADI COURSES!! TEC DIVES TO THE WRECK HERMES!! - TRINCOMALEE

(Waiting for that regional airport in Batticaloa to open up before making a return journey).

Sri Lanka Diving Tours has a base in Trincomalee dedicated to recreational diving. Their Batticaloa base is focused on tech diving. September is a good month for diving the east.

Just FYI there are now flights to Batticaloa and Trincomalee departing from Ratmalana (Colombo south).
