i readsomewhere that the commores has reopened to tourists. does anyone know what the diviing/snorkeling is like there? and does anone know how to get there from South africa?

Are you referring to the Comoros Archipelago? Where the coelacanths live? I'd maybe hold off on booking trips there right now, as Grand Comoro just had a nasty volcano erupt... lava everywhere.
