Diving in southern Egypt.

Hi.

Can anyone recommend a location/accomodation for sourthern Egypt??

Any thoughts welcome.

If the option is available to you, the liveaboard is the best bet. It'll enable you to reach some of the most spectacular sites during your trip and you'll get a lot of diving for your money.

Alternatively, Marsa Alam will put you in reach of some good sites in the south of Egypt. But there is very little to do on land.

Loved it, not as good as a liveaboard, but you save a lot of money, get to do a wreck, see turtles, sharks, and go on house reef anytime you want. Read my review here

there is also a beach camp/cabin place in the south that is inexpensive and basic. More of a dive base than a dive resort if you know what I mean... I'll find the link.
