I'll be in Santorini for a few days in early September this year and I was just wondering if it was worth it to try to get in a day or a half day of diving. Any thoughts? If its a good idea to dive for a day, does anyone know any good dive operations there? Thanks!

Isn't that where the volcano blew up centuries ago that may have started the Atlantis legend? It would be fascinating to dive the crater.

Hi, I would recommend Navy's dive center they were very professional and friendly. I first went diving with aegean divers and had an unpleasant experience due to faulty equipment, not to mention they were extremely disorganized and unprofessional. I continued diving with navy's dive center in kamari beach and had a wonderful time. Great dive spots next to the volcano and good cave diving also.
