Ever been diving in the Philippines? Puerto Galera (1 hour boat ride from the mainland) is an awesome little island with some incredible dive sites. The main diving beach is Sabang Beach which has around 40 dive sites within a few minutes boat ride. Everything from muck dives, high voltage drift dives, wrecks, technical diving and much more. Also an underwater photographer's paradise.

There is such an abundance and diversity of marine life here, it is just astonishing. The Verde Passage is recognised as one of the most biodiverse bodies of water on the planet.

There are so many dive resorts to choose from, but if you are going to Puerto Galera, I would highly reccommend Blue Ribbon Divers . The rooms are really nice, with everything you will need, and the staff are friendly and happy to attend to your every need. The dive center is very well organised, and they do about 5 dives a day, and night dives where you can try fluo diving!

Check out their site, the prices are really cheap, especially considering the level of comfort and personal service they deliver.
Also check out this video of the Verde Island dive site. It's a truly incredible dive site.

If you are into diving in warm, clear tropical waters, this is the place for you! I can't get enough of this place!
