Hi All,
I'll be in L.I. around Thanksgiving & was thinking about doing some diving. Can anyone give me some info now water temp's, dive operations, dive boats & dive locations I would greatly appreciate it.

Happy Diving

I think by then most - if not all - of the boats have stopped running.

the sea turtle will be running through december...

Hey Everyone,
Well, as I sit here and watch the wind blow and rain fall, I can only think ahead to the coming fall dive season and how many Blackfish got lucky today! As many of you know, this time of year can bring the best conditions for diving. The water has been in the mid to upper 60's with little or no thermocline up to 110' and the visibility is very clean. Blackfish season opens today, and trust me, we know where to find them!
The schedule for October is up and November will be soon. The Sea Turtle will be running trips through December.
The shark season is winding down, but we're looking forward to next year and some exciting trips further offshore, where anything can happen and usually does. Look for next years schedule to be up in January.
If you have a group interested in a Block Island overnighter or special destination, give us a call. 631-335-6323
We're always looking to "Dive Off the Deep End!"

The Stingray will still be running out of Belmar. www.stingraydivecharters.com is the link. The water still won't be too cold, the boat is a 10 passenger and he goes to some cool stuff. The Stolt is a favorite of Most.

Let me know if I can help you.

Can't predict what the weather will be doing. But... water temps will be changing from the current almost 60 deg. (last week was 64 and this week down to 58).
As for the boats, Lockness may still be running (freeport) http://www.locknessdiveboat.net/
Jeannie II may be running. /http://www.jeanne-ii.com/

Even if you can't get out diving, may want to try to get ticket for the LIDA Film Festival. http://lidaonline.com/main.htm
