I am going on vacation to Nags Head, NC in August. I checked on line a found several different dive places, anyone have a suggestion on which one to book with? I am looking at a boat dive and shore diving.

I used to dive with Outer Banks Dive Center but have not done so in years. Lately I have done beach dives on nearby wrecks like the Huron or Triangle wrecks. You can do those yourself without needing to go through a shop. The wrecks are marked by bouys. The USS Huron is located on the beach road at Baden St.

I would 2nd or is it 3rd Bill at OBDC Outer Banks Dive Center, Nags Head, North Carolina I've been out with them & always had a blast.
I would also think about a trip just south to Hatteras, I think you will think the trip was well worth it after diving there. Bluer, warmer water with typically better vis. Several ops to try.
Capt JT's Wreck Diving Site & Outer Banks Diving I haven't dove with JT, but plan to rectify that this year, I have dove with Johnny & Amy at Outer Banks & had no complaints & a great couple days of diving.

Thanks for info I will hook up with Outer Banks Diving. I just might go to Hatteras, how far from Nags Head is it?
