Has anyone been diving in Miyagi or the Tohoku area? Is it worthwhile? What's there to see? Shore or boat dives?

Any info on dive sites, prices and dive shops would be appreciated!

I have no idea really. But there are some dive points on the Padi Japan site just north of Sendai (shizugawa bay) it says current water is about 10 degrees --- ooooo chilly.

hows your japanese? try looking at the padi point maps http://www.padi.co.jp/visitors/divespot/jp_1252.asp

Maybe someone else on the board can make some suggestions...
