We are heading to Manzanillo in just over a week for a wedding and plan to squeeze in as much diving as we can between group events. I have searched for any posts on diving in Manzanillo and there aren't many recent posts. We are staying at Karmina Palace. I see there is a dive operator on site but it isn't clearly marked as being a Padi or any other type of endorsed shop. (Neptunes). Any feedback on them? Good or bad - would love to hear it....

Thanks

Thanks Dave,
Unfortunately we'll be gone when you get back.... we'll have to compare notes when we are both home..

Yes we dove with http://www.divemanzanillo.com/. They will pick you up if your at any local hotel.
I made a video for some people we met on the dive boat, it will give you an idea of the diving http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfJqB_LwEUA

The viz was 20 to 30 feet max. All the diving was at the base of cliffs so mainly diving around huge rocks. We had a lot of ocean surge but once you get used to it there's no problem.
If you need anymore answers contact me at dewiz555@hotmail dot com

Please do a trip report. We are considering both Karamina Palace and diving in Manzanillo. Would love to hear about both. Thanks
