A non-diver told me that he has seen people shore dive on Lake Wilcox in Richmond Hill, ON...has anybody been there or heard of someone diving there or is this just BS?

I lived in RH for about 10 years and trust me, the lake is bad enough to SWIM in... but dive? Eeeewwww!

In addition to the lack of viz, the bottom is about 6" of squishy oozy suck-you-down-quagmire mud.

If you're desperate for a dive fix, go up to Lake Simcoe; it's not that much further North.
