Got home from a work trip to Guam last week. I got 3 days of diving in and want to say it was some of the best diving I have done in quite some time. I dove with GTDS and it was great diving with them. The dive boats were big and roomy and the staff was always great. Setting up the dives with them was easy and pick up was no problem with them. There can be some hickups if you are the only english speaking diver going out as shops on Guam (from my experience calling around to dive shops) tend to cater to the Japanese. Not a big deal as I speak Japanese or if you are familiar with the sites. But GTDS did accommodate me with an english speaking DM more than once.
Blue Hole is an outstanding dive. Crystal clear waters with vis 100 plus. Dive down the wall and then up and out of the hole and then explore the surrounding reef and wall. Lots to see and do and a great dive! Also a great dive is the Tokai Maru/SMS Cmoron. Vis was excellent and this is an awesome set of wrecks. Finger Reef and Gab Gab are also really good dives. Lots to see and explore. Great spots for taking pics.
All in all my diving in Guam was outstanding, some of the better diving I have done in awhile. The diving was laid back and easy going and did not put a dent in my pocket book.

nice to hear Guam still makes divers happy - we look forward to getting back there one day

thanks for the pics!

Thanks for the pic's. We lived on Guam for 2 years and found the diving to be quite good. Lots of good shore diving to be had also. Looks like some of the pics are from the "cement" wreck near the Apra Harbor breakwater?

nice pics...Guam has some awesome diving....Okinawa is great also if you get the chance.
