Dear all,
I will be going for a while in French Gyuana, Kourou area, and I am wondering if any of you have been diving around there.
Following my first visit last month, the conclusion is that is better to change sport..... Viz of few cm, muddy and silty due to the Amazon and other rivers, anacondas, piranhas and other amenities :shocked2:.

On the other side, I also understand that the firebrigades of the Space Center are diving at the Iles du Salut (with the Île du Diable, famous for the imprisonment of Captain Alfred Dreyfus), and sometimes the viz can reach 10 mt, and then it's amazingly full of life, including big stuff, it's apparently infested by sharks.... :)

But if any of you have direct experience, I'd love to hear it !
