We just got back from 10 days there. It was our second visit. Dived with Nature Island Dive in Soufriere. The diving was great and the non diving activities are equally good. It called the Nature Island of the Carribean and it lives up to it`s name.
The people are very friendly although too many of them ask for money but they are polite when you say no. Everyone on the island is very welcoming and seemed happy to have tourists visit their island.
The numbers of fish aren`t as much as some other places we`ve been but the variety of fish and other creatures is good. The color and variety of the coral and sponges is as good or better then most places we`ve been. I saw lot`s of stuff I hadn`t seen before.
The diving with Nature Island Dive is pretty relaxed and everyone there is very friendly and accommodating.
The island is more difficult to get to than some other places but that`s what keeps it from being too commercial and crowded. It is definitely worth the effort though.
