i wanted to go once but my wife wouldn't grant kitchen permission.
she said i would be kidnapped by columbian gorillas.
i thought all gorillas are in africa.
if you put something together send back a trip report please.

Not sure about Contadora, haven't tried that yet, but living in Panama I have tried Bocas (Caribbean diving), not as good as Coz or Belize but acceptable -- but then I just like to get my head wet. You might consider diving the Canal, they do Panama Canal dives, not sure I'd want to, mainly wrecks and old train engines, viz not good. One area I HAVE to dive is Coiba island, supposed to be pristine and fabulous sea life. Panama Diuvers come highly recommended, try their website at www.panamadivers.com or email clay@panamadivers.com -- they may even be able to help with Contadora.
Regards,
Marion in Panama
