While it is a well know fact that you can only live so cushy of a life and still live a healthy one, I like to be aware of things that make my dive more comfortable. Maybe you can jot down a few things that you find useful to your dives in or out of the water. Some things that I find useful are:

A thermos of hot Darjeeling tea to warm me up after the dive. (not too much tea though or my sleep is impaired)

A heavy terry robe and hood to warm up in or change in if no facilities are around and I did not have a trailer

A small ALINER trailer (Similar to a pop up tent trailer but it sets up in 30 seconds or so. Use it to eat in, change and relax and warm up.)

A couple gallons of rinse water in jugs if there is no fresh water at the site

Q-tips for my ears and possibly bug spray for the body.

Some baby powder for the long drives home.

A cheap old capillary depth gauge to verify depths.

Back up diving knives that pull out with ease but will not fall out.

A redundant air supply. (pony)

Can't strand a 7mm wetsuit so use a 5 mm with larger shortly as a body vest if not using drysuit.

What do you find comforting when you dive?

This sounds great, but I can't picture what an ALINER is. Got a Picture or a link???
