This is an impression of my diving experience around Padangbai in Indonesia. Padang Bai is a small port town in East Bali.
The names of the dive sites are: Ferry Channel and Bias Tugal.

Yeah, I loved the diving around Padangbai as well! I did see some sharks but not 8. And 5 pygmy seahorses, wauw, that must have been a good dive!

Thanks for posting this. Padangbai diving is great. Had 8 sharks, 2 turtles, 5 pygmy seahorses, xenocrabs, coleman shrimps, leaffish, frogfish, nudis, etc on my last 2 dives!

Any of the rhinpias still there Cedric? Loved diving Padangbai!

Still have one pink eschmeyeri rhinopia on and off at Bloo Lagoon. It's deeper than before and no more guaranteed to see it. The rhinopia season seems to be reaching its end...
But new critters have arrived!
We've had 2 ambon scorpionfish (1 yellow, 1 red), blue-ringed octopus, coleman shrimps, thecacera nudies, etc at a new "secret" dive site.

Whitetips are pretty much always there. Sometimes you may see only one. Sometimes you may see lots. There are also a couple of nurse sharks. Wobbegong sharks can also be seen when the water gets colder (July-October).
As for pygmies, we have both yellow and red Bargibantis at the moment. The 5 were on a single seafan at 26m. We moved on once my diver had enough of taking pictures and didnt look for more!

Will definitely be back there next time I'm in Bali...for anyone reading this thread enjoyed diving with Geko and would definitely recommend them if you're in/around PB

Thanks for your information GekoDiveBali! I'm coming back to Bali in august, I want to visit some new dive sites but maybe I'll come back to Padangbai again!
