Diving in Atlanta area this weekend? (Sept. 30)

Late notice, I know, but does anyone want to do a dive somewhere in the area? I'm up for pretty much anything within an hour or two of Atlanta. I want to get some experience with my new reg before the temperatures go much farther south.

You'll be hard pressed.

Lake Lanier, of course, and Hartwell. And then there's Dive Haven up in White, Ga just off of I-75 just a little northeast of Cartersville.

Your next choices will be the quarries in Alabama and Tennessee, but they're closer to 2-1/2 to 3 hour drives.
