i am planning on doing a diving vacation on august with a friend of mine. first 15 days of august. i am a OW diver with not very much experience (15 dives or so, i dont remember exactly now) with 2 deep dives in mozambique and the other dives made in dahab, portugal and mozambique. My friend is going to try OW and i am going to try AOW. we were thinking in a 10 days holidays around egypt, and since i was in dahab before, and really are more into experience new places, i started looking for some kind of different place than dahab. but it is getting difficult, cause i was really into diving in ras mohamed and it seems that sharm el sheik is my only option, and i ve been there and really didnt enjoy it cause it was too much about crowed places and huge hotels. not my cup of tea.
dahab was great in terms of good vibe...
i was wondering if any of you could help me with tips to have a different experience in the red sea. are there quite/relaxed places to stay in sharm?
are there liveaboards with instructors?
i was also wondering if there is somewhere else around the mediterranean sea that is worth to try and go there to dive. we live in portugal, so our best options are around this area.
