We bought this resort starting December 16, 2010 without realising it was quite a distance away form the dive shops in Playa del Carmen. Anybody stayed there and would be willing to give us some hints? Where to dive? Where is a nearest dive shop? How much is a taxi ride to Playa del carmen, etc. In general, is it worth pre-purchasing dive packages for this location and time period? It limits our flexibility. Would we save any money by pre-boooking?
