Hi, my name's Toni and I live in China, teaching at a Canadian offshore school. One of the many benefits of doing this means that I get a month's holiday for their Spring Festival! This year I'll be visiting friends in Vietnam and then have 3 weeks of traveling by myself, and of course, I want to go diving. I have Bali and the Similan Islands in mind, but am open to any suggestions of beautiful and relatively cheap diving destinations in Southeast Asia. I spent several days last Spring Festival getting my Advanced Open Water off Koh Phi Phi and then did a few fun dives off Koh Tao, so have already experienced these 2 dive locations. I am planning on backpacking, so also want the opportunity to meet other people and divers too. I thank everyone for any suggestions they might have!

Come to Bali, you'll love the diving here!
It may not be high season in February but that means few people on site and it's far from raining everyday.
Very good chances for sharks, turtles and mantas. Macro and wrecks always here and you could even be lucky: had a sunfish today!
