Does anyone now if there are divecentres on the Normandie coast in France that arrange divetrips to D- day wrecks? Links?

Thanks

hi,

this is a link to a club situated in Arromanches.
if you are not fluent in French there is a page "for English (speaking?)people" :)

the artificial harbour is still there (most of) and there is a lot of wrecks of course not in very well condition.Sometimes the visibility can be poor.
It's hard not to be sensitive to this site where History is so important.
After the dives it's very interresting to visit the museum to understand how difficult to build and important the harbour was.
There is also a submarine D day wreck museum just beside Arromanches

You could also dive with caen plongée, at Ouistreham in the north of Caen then you could dive nitrox.

The website is all in french, witch is a bit surprising, you could email them :caenplongée@free.fr or phone ( from France) : 02 31 50 10 25

You have to know that the viz is usually very bad ( 1 - 2 m), you should avoid the high tides ( coef over 70).

Thank you for the answers, I have sent at leat 10 emails to what I think are divecentres in France, and gotten one answer... hope to get some more.. Does anyone know about some more divecentres on the Normandie coast?
