Randy (Randy76) and I dove Entrance bay at Cultus lake today in an attempt to escape the lousy Howe sound vis. No such luck however. While the water was clear near the surface, at depth (82') it was 8' vis or so. The temp was 41*F for most of the dive with a dip to 39*F.

I can't dive Sunday but have part of Saturday open. I'm actually thinking of returning to Cultus seeing as the vis is so bad nright now and doing a long transit along the entrance bay picnic area (slinging an extra Al80 or two).
Ha! the silt in the water is exactly the same colour as the bottom so, as I didn't know the depth at the point we descended, I cratered into a foot or more of undisturbed silt on the bottom. Oops! Rookie move.

PS. I'll leave that "paperwork" for you at the shop tomorrow afternoon. Sorry for the delay.

Dove Cultus again today (Entrance bay). The temp was 46F. Found the following:

One fin
One mask (Childs, no strap)
One J snorkel
One inflatable raft oar
One old Pepsi bottle

I'm never going to get rich this way :depressed:
