Diving conditions - Phuket

Hi

I'm visiting Phuket the end of this month and was wondering if any of you know what the diving conditions are like this time of year. Also has anybody got any recommendations with respect to dive centres.

Welcome to SB Sniffs!
The diving is great and end March/April is usually the best time of the year to dive around Phuket especially at The Similan/Surin areas as we tend to see more of the bigger pelagics then. Having said that at the moment there are so many sightings of Mantas and whalesharks around.

For DC's there are many good operations on Phuket so I reckon it would depend a lot on where you will be staying?

Cheers, sounds like we'll have some good diving then. We're actually staying at hotel in Patong Beach, Sunrise Diving appears to be close to our hotel.
