I've been to both Turneffe and Placencia twice in late June.

Overall, the weather was great and wind was never a factor for diving. We had rain a few times, almost always at night, and last year especially we had some fantastic thunderstorms that would roll in overnight but were long gone by morning.

Of course, when it comes to the weather you pay your money and you take your chances but I wouldn't hesitate to go in June, July or August.

Barring bad weather or illness, I'd say no. You'll have a great time. Splash is a great dive op.
