Diving at CSSP this Saturday

Hello,

I was looking for a Dive Buddy to meet out at Clear Springs sometime on Saturday. I am pretty flexible with my time... so Morning or afternoon, evening is fine with me.. Wouldnt mind even getting a night dive in if possible.

I know there is a growing group that will be out there so there will probably be a few others post up. I'll be out there at the Adventure Scuba Pavilion with a class all weekend. As long as I'm not working with students, you are welcome to come say hello, make an afternoon dive, or share in the evening campfire. I'll probably be wearing one of my TSD shirts.

On Saturday we normally get finished about 3ish.

The Adventure Scuba Pavilion is on the opposite side of the road from the lake just up the hill from the air fill station.

There may be some others out too. Come by and say hello. I'll have the grill lit for dinner on saturday, bring something to grill and you are welcome to the coals.

Between TwoBit teaching class and my buddy being a late sleeper I may be at loose ends on Sat AM. If anyone needs a buddy come look me up

I'll probably be knitting at the AS pavilion if I cannot find anyone to dive with so I'll be the one with needles in my hands.

Texarkandy - to answer both of your questions:

1) the amish thing threw me to until I realized that it would be more accurately conveyed as AM-ish... get it now?

2) yes - solo divers in search of buddies should come to the AS pavilion.

OK, I'll bite - what's an "amish dive"?

There are two answers. "am"ish as in some time in the general morning hours.

The if you go through and read some of the lake murray threads Timeliner et al talk about the amish as a play on words.

We say we will meet about "9amish" The amish will be bringing conganc and warm towels for post dive enjoyment.
