Can't it's family, thanks I'd love too otherwise. Also another friend may have an opening on his boat for a Castle Hill Sat AM probably be back in time for my commitment. Went to FTW today for a shake down dive 1st time since New Years day and I had several new items to check out all of which worked fine. I've got a bronze stair thread from the LH in my front sidewalk. Nice vacation you got going there!
Phil called me I'll be diving Castle Hill tomorrow. I bet you'll have nice conditions tomorrow the sound was pretty calm today and the winds are lite tonight and Sat. Save diving thanks for the invite/

Jordan I got your message last but it was too late to call back. i am going to try to get a quick one tomorrow before I run the boat up to quonset. Let me know if you can go.
Heading out for a dive now before the wind comes up.
By tomorrow do you mean Sunday? I can probably do a dive Sunday except the only tank I have full now is a 72 LP which isn't a lot of air. I'm going to find out if that new shop in JT is open Sunday AM if he is I'll go fill one of my 94LP.
Had a nice dive at Castle Hill about 10-15' vis no fish however one of the guys found a new anchor with a 100' of new ground tackle!.

Dive 2046 6-6-15 Castle Hill Newport The sky was overcast the wind lite and the bay calm. We anchored the Phaze II just south of the Coast Guard station. I used a 94LP and dry suit, weight was heavy @ 20lbs. After rolling over the side we found a pleasant 10-15’ vis, max depth 50FSW. Water temps were consistent regardless of depth, surface temp was 60F, @ 50FSW 58F. Visibility was also consistent with a solid 10’ vis @ 50fsw and that was mostly because of the low light at that depth. No large fish but plenty of bait fish. The second set of divers went to 100FSW and found togs closer to that depth but no keepers. Again all my new/used gear worked flawlessly. During the time the second set of divers were down the weather changed the wind picked up and white caps started to form the ride back was long and slow, which gave us plenty of time to review our dives. It was a great morning of diving with 3 excellent and experienced NE divers and good friends too.
