Diving and Golf?

Hi peeps!

I'm in college and graduating in May. Folks are coming to visit me.. Just wondering where, in Florida, can I get good diving AND good golf? Parents like to golf, where i wanna dive! I've never been to Florida, and was thinking it's nice to dive there b4 I return home for good...

Just understand that most golf clubs will corrode and rust after salt water exposure.

Flippers will not leave divots on sand traps, so that's a plus.

Palm Beach would be one of the best reccomendations i could give you. You have come of the best golf courses and dive ops. I would reccomend Oceans Quest Scuba they have a website at oceanquestscuba.com. I would also reccomend Okeeheelee Golf course its beautiful but its has alot of water.

Pompano Beach. That area has premium courses, and an excellent city-owned public course for those who want to have fun for less. Jupiter has plenty of both, but I have not played golf there. Tiger Woods moved to Jupiter, as he dives when he isn't making a living with golf.

Golf and diving are natural partners, as a lot of places have both. And... you can golf on the 24 hour waiting period before flying.

Well, the run off from the golf courses screws up the environment which is not good for the diving. Ban golf!

Hey, Walter. How about a golf course that is fertilized and watered by the residual products of a wastewater treatment plant? We had that at our city-owned course in North Carolina. It kept that stuff out of the river and therefore the ocean (near Cape Hatteras). Our golf course was a key part of a model wastewater system.
