I have read in different places that you should wait anywhere from 18 to 24 hours from the end of your dive until flying. I am flying on Monday morning at 6:00am. If I am out of the water by noon on Sunday, aftere diving 1 or 2 tanks at a depth of no more than 35 or 40 feet, would 18 hours be enough time, or should I not go out on Sunday?

Here you go sir

* For a single no-decompression dive, a minimum preflight surface interval of 12 hours is suggested.
* For multiple dives per day or multiple days of diving, a minimum preflight surface interval of 18 hours is suggested.
* For dives requiring decompression stops, there is little evidence on which to base a recommendation and a preflight surface interval substantially longer than 18 hours appears prudent.

This is wear a computer really helps you get the most dives out of your vacation before having to fly home.

My computer starts a 24 hour countdown, reguardless of how long I'm under. Thanks for the info Ocrmaster

My Oceanic Veo 200 does the same. I think there is no way to change this, but there is the saturation count down. One could be more liberal by following that. I think the highest I've seen mine is about 18-19 hours.
