From my own personal experience it very likely was not in her head. Long story I have told on this board before. Many other factors involved, but the short version is: Bent (or so they said, some doubt at that time in my mind), chamber ride, 7 days dry, shallow dive, 48 hours later, I drove to 1,400 feet elevation ....pain, in the knee! Drive back to sea level pain lessens and into the chamber or "pot" as you called it. The elevation did not bend me, but it caused the bend to become very obvious and painful. The point here is that 1,400 feet is enough pressure change to cause bubbles in the body to grow (enlarge).boogeywoogey:...The airline caters for divers and flies no higher than 1500 feet, 500 metres or so.
