Thank you all for your response. This weekend I will try your recipe. I am planning a two-wreck two-bottle diving trip, and will focus on longer stops and slower ascents. I will also mix the Gatorade with water (just water does not taste very good to me after diving) to make sure that i am properly hydrated.
In reviewing my dive profile i can see that perhaps the rate of ascent is the culprit.

Thank you all for your support and guidance. It worked, I am tired but not groggy and not sleepy!

Now is a week later. I did my two-tank dive today: first to the Spiegel @105ft, and then the Duane @94 ft. I was extra careful with the stops, doing both the deep stop and then a 5-minute stop at 15ft. My ascends at hand-over-fist to slow down my ascend.

A post dive nap, then a double esspresso with a red bull chaser perhaps??

(just kidding)

Glad the advice here helped out!!
