Yeah and since AETNA covers 100% of costs associated with chamber rides, I figured I'd have nothing to lose doing a 2-hr ride anyway. Thoughts?
 
Yes, unless it is worse during the flight (a test of reduced pressure), it is assuredly not DCS. My guess is benign overuse myalgia. Save your money on the consult,if there is no increase in the problem on the plane. :coffee:

And do not carry heavy luggage with the sore arm - I had a call on this one once by a test subject in a study!:wink:
 
Dr. Deco rocks my world. I'll post once I am back in Philadelphia. I'll consult a doctor for my muscular pain though (which by now has spread to the left side of my upper back -- ugh)

I have also been feeling unusually tired and depressed, but what can one expect after a week-long intense vacation, and when one is leaving South Africa's beautiful weather for the snowstorms of the Northeast? :)
